I love Isla’s take on the mermaid tale for kids. I read this one to my niece and she adored it. If I have to admit a secret – I loved it too. The books from Isla are sweet, heartfelt, but they always have an important message to children that they can take with them long after the story is over. Love it!

My 5 year old loved this book. It worked well and was cute and funny and taught real world applications. The illustrations were wonderful and cute and engaging. Will definitely be checking this author out again.
Once again Isla Wynter tackles a difficult conversation and makes it ok and understandable to children. We all find ourselves in a situation where wearing a mask is so important. Not only to our health but to the health of those around us including Santa.
This is a wonderful story to spark your child’s imagination with beautiful illustrations. It is also a great book to read or listen to as a bedtime storybook. I recommend this book for everyone who enjoys animals and/or space.
